Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, Emily is able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. Emily uses cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approaches while coming from a trauma informed perspective.
Transitional phases in life come and go and can often feel especially pressing and challenging. Emily can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of healing and feeling strong through your transitions. She especially values working on working with women throughout their lifespan, and appreciates being able to support these folks through the unique challenges that come with womanhood.
Emily has taken additional certifications and trainings, and is working towards her PMH-C certification this year. She has worked with many families trying to conceive, experiencing infertility, going through grief and loss, and experiencing postpartum challenges or challenges that arise with becoming a new parent. Emily feels passionate about working with this population and plans to continue to grow in this area.
