Before beginning therapy, Emily offers a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This conversation provides an opportunity to connect, discuss your needs, and ensure that working together feels like the right fit. During this time, Emily will also review her insurance and billing practices so that everything is clear and transparent from the start—helping you feel informed and supported as you take this next step.
Emily is currently paneled with multiple insurances including Aetna, Anthem BCBS of CO, Anthem BCBS of NH, BCBS of MA, Cigna, and Optum (UHC, Oscar and Oxford). This means she will be able to work with you to accept these insurances. Please note that a psychiatric diagnosis is required for insurance reimbursement, and couples therapy is often not covered by insurance. If you have any questions or concerns, Emily is happy to discuss this with you in consult or in session. Emily is licensed in Colorado, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island and accepts insurance in each of these states.
Emily also works with clients who prefer to pay privately rather than use insurance. Her fees are $160 for a 45-minute individual session, or $190 for a 55-minute session. She also offers a limited number of couples sessions at a rate of $200 per session.
Emily offers a limited number of sliding scale appointments to help make therapy more accessible and affordable. This means session fees are adjusted based on an individual’s income and number of dependents. The goal is to reduce financial barriers for those with lower incomes or without insurance. For clients who qualify, Emily will collaborate with you to find a fee that feels fair and manageable, ensuring that support remains within reach.
